update

I can't believe it's been so long since I've written. Things have been pretty busy around here, as you can imagine.
Scott is still in the National Guard until this December (yea!). He is working as an orderly at Ellwood City Hospital. He's taking online classes through Kaplan College for Fire & Emergency Management and also a class through CCAC for his EMT-B. I'll have him post a link on here for his English assignment that he got a B on.
I'm still working at Slippery Rock Family Medicine Center as a Medical Assistant. I just finished my first year as Director of the Awana Sparks Club at our church. I also occassionally help in the nursery. Our church is trying to form a young couples group that I am to be in charge of as well this summer, so pray for us in that endeavor. I haven't been involved in our local MOPS group, but I'm hoping to get back into that this fall since Talia will be in kindergarten and I'll only have one child to get out the door.
Arianna is finishing up first grade. Her latest report card shows a decline in her grades in Reading and Spelling and we are considering retaining her this year. She participated in soccer this fall and is in t-ball this spring. She's also taking ballet and jazz at Ludovici Dance Academy. I will post pictures of her costumes soon. She is looking forward to swimming and horse back riding lessons again this summer.
Talia is almost done with her second year of preschool. She is very excited to be going to Laurel Elementary for kindergarten in the fall. She continues to excel in gymnastics at C&Z and will be trying out for the training team for competitions this fall as well. This summer will be Talia's first time at swimming lessons and she is excited but nervous as she hates putting her face underwater.
Danica is growing fast! She is crawling and sitting alone. She has also started pulling her self up to standing two days ago. She likes to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and dances to the music. She lights up when she sees her sisters and likes to follow them around the house. She was 15# 1oz. and 26 1/4 inches at her 6 month check up.
And as most of you know, on February 25, Blackhawk ran away. He was at my parents' house and was chasing another animal through the woods. He was gone for a few hours when it started snowing heavily and getting very cold. We scoured the neighborhood and put up flyers but no leads panned out. We are not sure if he was picked up by someone or got into a fight with another animal or what. He was our first child and we miss him terribly.
This summer we plan on moving into Scott's mother's house and she will move into ours. We are growing out of this small space, and her house is getting too much for her to take care of alone. We are really looking forward to it.
I hope everyone is doing well. I'm really going to try to be better at keeping this updated again.
love,
jaime
