MFS Appointment

Today I had to have an appointment with a Maternal Fetal Specialist at AGH due to a questionable area in the baby's abdomen found on 7/17 ultrasound.
She does have a 2.5 cm ovarian cyst on the left side. They want to check it again in 4 weeks to make sure it doesn't grow. As long as it stays smaller than 4 cm, we do nothing. She will have to get an u/s when she's a few weeks old. At that time, it should shrink due to her no longer having my hormones in her system. If it gets bigger than 4 cm, treatments would depend on alot of different factors.

We (my mom came with me) did get to see her face, count her toes, and find her stomach, kidneys, diaphragm, bladder. We were even able to see that she has hair. And, it was so amazing that we actually saw the blood flowing through the four chambers of her heart!

Here is a pic of her first close up. She's about 4 lbs. 1 oz right now. I think she looks like Talia...

Fourth of July

Talia's shirt says: "That's MISS Army Brat to you! Now hit the ground and PUSH!"
Arianna's shirt says: "My Daddy is a Soldier. Got a problem with that?"
Jaime's shirt says: "Baby Bump issued by my U.S. Soldier"
Landen's shirt says: "Some people live their whole life wondering if they will ever make a difference. My Uncle is a Soldier. He doesn't have that problem. US Army Nephew"

We had lunch with Gram at her house - hot dogs/hamburgers, potato salad, baked beans, and cupcakes made by Arianna and Talia. Then we met Jess, Justin and Landen at Pearson Park to watch the fireworks. We also rode an old fashioned fire truck and played at the playground.
