This year's March of Dimes March for Babies was held in Ewing Park, Ellwood City. Jaime, Arianna, Talia, Jesseca, Landen, Jim & Janet walked for the 5th year for Team Arianna.

WELCOME
Welcome to our site. This blog is for Scott, Jaime, Arianna, Talia & Baby Cartwright.
We live in New Castle, PA - about an hour north of Pittsburgh.
Scott & Jaime are high school sweethearts from Laurel Jr.-Sr. High who have been together since 1999. They married on December 28, 2002, while Scott was stationed in Fort Bragg, NC, with the US Army 82nd Airborne Div. At 7:30 pm on August 29, 2003, 14 weeks premature, Arianna Jo joined our family. Weighing 1# 6.5 oz. and 13 in. long, she was born at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC. Jaime & Arianna came back to PA in July of 2004 and Scott was discharged from active duty in October. He then joined the PA Army National Guard A Co. 1-112th Infantry out of Butler. In February 2005, he received orders for a deployment to Iraq and 2 weeks later we found out we were pregnant with baby #2. Talia Jae was born 5 days late on August 19, 2005 at 2:22 pm, while Scott was in Ramadi, Iraq. Our family of four was together for the first time for Christmas 2005. Scott came finished his tour in June 2006 and worked security before deciding to become a CNA in 2007. At the same time, Jaime started Medical Assisting school at DCI Career Institute in Monaca. Scott got a job at Ellwood City Hospital as an orderly. Jaime graduated in September 2007 and got hired as a medical assistant at Slippery Rock Family Medicine Center in Slippery Rock. Arianna started dance classes and preschool. Life continued this way until the summer of 2008 when Scott again received orders for Iraq. He left for numerous trainings in New Jersey, Mississippi, Louisana, & California. Arianna started Kindergarten at Laurel Elementary and Talia started Preschool at East Lawrence Elementary. Arianna decided to take ballet this year and Talia wanted to try gymnastics. They both are involved with children's activities at our church as well. Scott is currently stationed at Camp Taji, about an hour north of Baghdad, Iraq. Jaime is keeping busy with the kids and working and with the news a new little one is on the way. Her next sonogram is scheduled for May 20 and Baby Cartwright is due September 17.
