Dear Santa....

Our Christmas lists....

Arianna - Zoobles, American Girl doll, Barbie and the Island Princess doll (because mine has a dead battery and her arm is broken), a pet kitty, a "handmade" necklace (I don't know what this means though except "it means people made it"), Barbie house, Littlest Pet Shop Rescue Center

Talia - makeup, necklace with Pearls & Seashells (and bracelet, earrings, and headband, too), Barbie with the Camera in her back, a pink and red leotard with gold and silver sparkles, high heels, candy, a "real" camera, Hannah Montana outfit and "hair", new dresses/clothes.
(She also says she wants a toy panda, France, Chinese, and Danica)

Danica (according to Arianna & Talia) - bottle, binky, baby stuff/toys, baby clothes, lipstick, a bow for her hair, new dress, body lotion.

Jaime - new camera with a faster shutter speed and better zoom, hiking boots, fix my engagement ring (Scott!), clothes, Pandora bracelet (yeah right), scrubs for all seasons/occasions (except christmas and halloween, i have too many of those), okay so instead of the Pandora bracelet how about gold charms and the spit rings to put on my gold charm bracelet???

Scott - grill stuff, tix to a pens game, jerkey maker, "stuff for work", gift cards for food.

Update

With the girls' birthdays approaching, I wanted to let everyone know what we all have been up to.

Scott passed is PA State EMT Certification and got a job with Noga Ambulance in New Castle.  He is still working as an orderly at Ellwood City Hospital.  He's been taking online classes for a degree in Fire & Emergency Management. And, finally, he will be out of the Army in December. He has been in for 9 years, so it will be a big adjustment for our family. He's been fishing this summer in his spare time.

Jaime is still working as a Medical Assistant.  She spends her free time taking the kids to their various activities and helping out with the youth programs at church.

Arianna will be 7 on August 29th. She will be in 1st grade at Laurel Elementary this fall. She takes dance during the school year and can't wait for it to start again. She played t-ball this past spring. This summer she went to dance camp, church camp, VBS, art camp, and will go to swimming lessons next week. She wears size 6/7 and likes Wizards of Waverly Place and Hannah Montana, Silly Bandz, animals, Littlest Pet Shop, and Barbies. She is also excited to go to the Youth Field Day at the Coachmen Club this Saturday for hunting, fishing and boating. Arianna had an upper endoscopy last month due to reflux and to rule out Celiac Disease. They endoscopy was normal except for some nodules in her small intestine from the stomach acid so she is just to keep taking Prevacid.

Talia will be 5 on August 19th. She will be starting Kindergarten at Laurel. She takes gymnastics and has started the training team this summer to be able to start going to competitions. She will be playing soccer this fall as well. This summer she went to gymnastics camp, art camp, VBS and will be also taking swimming lessons next week. She wears size 5 and likes Silly Bandz, jewlery and makeup, Barbies, Polly Pockets, and drawing, painting, and coloring.

Danica will be 1 on September 25th. She wears size 12 month clothes. She has been walking since the day before she was 10 months old.  She loves her sisters and follows them around everywhere. She likes to dance to music. She likes to play outside and in her wading pool. She had a pelvic ultrasound last month to make sure her ovarian cyst has resolved, which it did.

Most likely the girls' party will be September 11 at Ewing Park in Ellwood. We will send out invitations when we get it all planned.

Moraine

We all went swimming at Lake Arthur today. The girls (all three!) loved the water and Daddy taking them out in it. It was so warm and a beautiful day.

Toothy kind of day

Danica's two bottom teeth broke through her gums today. Also, Arianna "ripped out" one of her bottom left teeth in school today (her words). She told me when I got home from work about it, and then said, "I hope I loose my next tooth on Christmas, that way the Tooth Fairy and Santa can come on the same night. Can that happen?" So funny.

update

I can't believe it's been so long since I've written. Things have been pretty busy around here, as you can imagine.
Scott is still in the National Guard until this December (yea!). He is working as an orderly at Ellwood City Hospital. He's taking online classes through Kaplan College for Fire & Emergency Management and also a class through CCAC for his EMT-B. I'll have him post a link on here for his English assignment that he got a B on.
I'm still working at Slippery Rock Family Medicine Center as a Medical Assistant. I just finished my first year as Director of the Awana Sparks Club at our church. I also occassionally help in the nursery. Our church is trying to form a young couples group that I am to be in charge of as well this summer, so pray for us in that endeavor. I haven't been involved in our local MOPS group, but I'm hoping to get back into that this fall since Talia will be in kindergarten and I'll only have one child to get out the door.
Arianna is finishing up first grade. Her latest report card shows a decline in her grades in Reading and Spelling and we are considering retaining her this year. She participated in soccer this fall and is in t-ball this spring. She's also taking ballet and jazz at Ludovici Dance Academy. I will post pictures of her costumes soon. She is looking forward to swimming and horse back riding lessons again this summer.
Talia is almost done with her second year of preschool. She is very excited to be going to Laurel Elementary for kindergarten in the fall. She continues to excel in gymnastics at C&Z and will be trying out for the training team for competitions this fall as well. This summer will be Talia's first time at swimming lessons and she is excited but nervous as she hates putting her face underwater.
Danica is growing fast! She is crawling and sitting alone. She has also started pulling her self up to standing two days ago. She likes to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and dances to the music. She lights up when she sees her sisters and likes to follow them around the house. She was 15# 1oz. and 26 1/4 inches at her 6 month check up.
And as most of you know, on February 25, Blackhawk ran away. He was at my parents' house and was chasing another animal through the woods. He was gone for a few hours when it started snowing heavily and getting very cold. We scoured the neighborhood and put up flyers but no leads panned out. We are not sure if he was picked up by someone or got into a fight with another animal or what. He was our first child and we miss him terribly.
This summer we plan on moving into Scott's mother's house and she will move into ours. We are growing out of this small space, and her house is getting too much for her to take care of alone. We are really looking forward to it.
I hope everyone is doing well. I'm really going to try to be better at keeping this updated again.
love,
jaime
